I am super excited about this post! Today, some new stills from Breaking Dawn Part 2 have popped up online! It’s always fun to get new goodies, and this is no different. We now have a still of Renesmee with her parents on the battle field. I think my favorite from this bunch is the one of Renesmee with Bella, Edward, and Jacob. Thanks to Kristen Stewart Brazil for sharing these! Check them out in the gallery now.

In The Little Prince, a Little Girl (voiced by Mackenzie Foy) lives her mega-controlled life by her well-meaning, stiffly-professional mom’s life schedule. She’s a smart child with no sense of wonder. When The Aviator (Jeff Bridges) a grizzled old dreamer next door, comes into her life with stories about a mythical prince who lives on a tiny asteroid, is when she really learns to be alive.

Beautiful young actress Mackenzie Foy has grown up over the course of recording her Little Girl voice in many sessions for The Little Prince an animated film based on the popular children’s book. She had just turned 12 when she started recording and now she is 15. Big difference! Mackenzie told us, “I’m several inches taller and went through puberty since then. I recorded the voice over several years. It was a learning curve. That experience has taught me many things”.

The teen will soon star as lead character Clara a Disney version of The Nutcracker. She was a model and was originally noticed as a young child at a dance recital. Her fave animated film way back then was Bambi and she has sort of been playing Pokémon Go but admits she is lazy at it. She warned us, “Never interrupt someone playing Pokémon. While I was doing hair and make-up for a press day there was a Pokémon in the hotel room so I was like “Oh my gosh!” It’s really fun. Sometimes I’ll cheat when my mom is driving around in the car. I’m lazy about it”.  She is certainly not lazy about her acting.

Exciting news! Mackenzie was cast in Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of the famous holiday tale, The Nutcracker!

Walt Disney Pictures has tapped rising star Mackenzie Foy to play Clara in its latest retelling of “The Nutcracker.”

Foy, who broke out as Matthew McConaughey’s daughter in Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar,” joins Misty Copeland who was recently announced as the lead ballerina in the films sole dance number.

The live action project is titled “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.” It is based on the 1816 story “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King” by E.T.A. Hoffmann in which a Clara (Foy) is charged by her parents with taking care of a Christmas toy Nutcracker doll which comes to life and defeats an evil Mouse King with seven heads.

Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and choreographers Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov turned an Alexandre Dumas adaptation of the story into the ballet “The Nutcracker” in 1892.

For the upcoming film, Lasse Hallström came on board in March to direct from Ashleigh Powell’s script.

Mark Gordon is producing. Lindy Goldstein is executive producing.

Sam Dickerman and Allison Erlikhman are overseeing the project for Disney. Sara Smith is overseeing for The Mark Gordon Company.

Foy’s past credits included “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” parts 1 and 2 but it was her role in “Interstellar” that earned her a nomination from the Critics Choice awards. She recently voiced the little girl who befriends an eccentric neighbor (voiced by Jeff Bridges) in the animated film “The Little Prince.”
